SANTA IS COMING TO TOWN!
Santa is visiting us on December 18th! If you wish to dress up your child to take a picture with Santa, please do so!
TUITION WILL DECREASE
Your child's tuition will decrease on January 5th; deduct the lunch fee from your weekly tuition. Your child will receive free breakfast served from 6:30 am to 8:00 am only, lunch from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and snack from 2:30 to 4:00pm.

Welcome to One Step at a Time Learning Academy. In the preschool, there is much greater awareness than ever before of the need for quality education. This has occurred as a result of growth in the area. We intend to distinguish ourselves from the competition by offering high quality, cleanliness, and understanding of early childhood education and education itself. The learning institution will be committed to meeting each child’s individual needs in a loving, nurturing manner through a fun, safe, and educational environment that addresses these needs much more effectively than current companies in our market area.
In the early childhood curriculum, we take our children's natural curiosity and focus it in the areas of math, language development, creative expression, discovery science, social awareness, and cognitive thinking skills in a fun and creative environment. We allow the children to increase their large and small muscle skills and feel confident about what their bodies can do. We will help the children experience pride and self-confidence, develop independence and self-control, and have a positive attitude towards life and others. We do this through interest centers that promote discovery learning by asking questions, exploring, and problem solving and skill mastery. Learning centers will be provided to put academic emphasis on hands-on discovery experiences. The learning centers will have age-appropriate activities. They include: Math center, Science-Discovery-Center, Language Arts Centers, Reading and Writing, Readiness center, Manipulative Center, Sensory Center, Music, Library, Arts and Dramatic Play, Computers, and playground.
Our curriculum ensures that each child has a comprehensive educational experience. The activities planned for the students, the way we organize the environment, select the toys and materials, plan a daily schedule, and talk with the children, are all designed to accomplish the goals of our curriculum and give the child a successful start in school or continued success in school. Our curriculum will be in English. We will have a monthly newsletter sharing our children’s learning experiences, new ideas to try at home, recipes, and information that may interest parents which will be written both in English and in Spanish.
